Patricia Hatfield lives in Santa Rosa, California, and works in Sonoma County and the greater Bay Area, living her passion to bring people together in harmony and full self-expression through music. She is committed to people’s well-being and health, and to creating positive workplace environments, and improving the lives of others through music.
Patricia has been a senior programs consultant and music facilitator, and certified massage therapist for over 20 years. She offers individual and group sessions for team building, personal growth, health and well-being, empowerment and transformation. She serves diverse populations including Senior Communities and facilities for Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory care, as well as the blind and visually impaired. She provides drum circles for the Community Support Network, an organization that supports the homeless and mentally challenged. She supported Leta Davis in creating a music program for the Woodland Star Charter School for Grades 1 through 8.
Patricia is a trained drum circle facilitator, studying with Arthur Hull of Village Drum Circles, as well as with Christine Stevens and Barry Bittman, MD, in the HealthRhythms Group Empowerment Training. She has studied music performance and composition at UC Berkeley and is certified as a cross-cultural healing music practitioner with Pat Moffitt Cook, Ph.D. in Seattle. She has been drumming for the last 20 years, with African and Afro-Cuban teachers, as well as Indian Tabla with Swapan Chaudhuri at the Ali Akbar College. Additionally, she is a Certified Massage Therapist, bringing health and well-being to her clients.
